This song jumps right off on some heavy riff action and keeps blazing away (aided by a driving rhythm section) for a solid 1:40. At that point it drifts rather nicely (and a bit unexpectedly) into a slow guitar melody, sparse at first but soon joined by the other instruments setting up kind of a swaying, introspective groove.  It is a cool two-tone track that I really enjoyed.

If you want to pick up a great full album by this band I definitely recommend their 2023 How To Ruin Your Life Fast. “Rosejam,” “Punch Drunk” and “Not My Night” still make a regular rotation through my listening list and the whole record is really strong.

Vote here to nominate this for my best of 2026 list:

Musicians on this are:  Pablo Acosta (lead guitar), Tasha Lee (bass), Maxwell Ferrer (lead vocals, guitar), Liam Reece (drums).
